Home » Aqueduct Race TrackJune 2, 2007Aqueduct Race TrackAqueduct opened back on September 27, 1894 in Queens and today it’s one of the premier race tracks in horse racing. The track was town down in the 1950s to make way for the new “Big A” and in 1975, Aqueduct welcomed winter racing. The main course at Aqueduct race track is 1 1/8 miles. It has a 1 mile inner dirt course and a 7/8 mile turf course. Aqueduct Racing Dates Aqueduct race track has two main meetings—Fall and Winter/Spring. The fall meeting is from October 25th to December 31st. Post times are at 12:30 p.m. Eastern. The Winter/Spring meeting at Aqueduct race track runs from January 1st through April. The actual dates vary from year to year. Post times are normally 12:30 p.m. Eastern, but in March and April they get pushed back half an hour. Aqueduct Admission Clubhouse admission to Aqueduct race track is $1. You can get into the Skyline Club for $2. Kids under 12 are free. Gates open at 11 a.m. Eastern. Parking will run you $1-$4 depending on what you do. General parking is just a buck. If you want to valet your vehicle, it’s $4. Clubhouse preferred parking is also $4.
