Today, at Hollywood Park, I hit the Daily Double. Two of my early selections, Three Points in race one and Belong to Parfait in race two, won their races. Three Points paid $4.40 for the race one win and Belong to Parfait paid $7.00 for the race two win. I love starting out the day with a couple of winners. The Daily Double paid $12.80 per $2 wagered, which makes me a very happy horse racing bettor.

As a result of my Daily Double win, I am alive for the Pick 4 still. I placed one ticket in the Pick 4, so we will see how it goes. I feel very confident about the remaining two selections. However, Pick 4 is basically a mini-lotto. I am not a horse racing bettor that boxes horses and bets 30+ for the Pick 4. I go with my best shots and occasionally add an extra horse in a race or two.
