Her last race was almost a month ago at Hollywood Park(N2X) where she finished second by a neck—giving up the lead. I think she is going to need to lead to be successful in this race.

My pick for this race is Dalicia with jockey Espinoza. Dalicia has not raced in almost a month. Her last race was at Hollywood Park (N2X) where she beat Live Life by a neck. She is able to sit off the pace and close when required. She has had three workouts since that race—May 9, 18 and 25. Two of those three workouts were on the turf, whereas, the other horses have worked out on dirt.

Dalicia is 2-1 on the morning line, just under Live Life who is the 9-5 morning line favorite. The only price in this race is Tivadare who figures to be a non-factor in this tough field. She has run 3 Grade II Turf races, but finished pretty much dead last in all three. For my money, Dalicia is the horse to beat. If May 3rd was any indication, it could come down to a photo finish between Dalicia and Live Life.
