Home » Emerald Downs Long Shot Race 3July 13, 2006Emerald Downs Long Shot Race 3I was browsing the forum today and found a horse in race three at Emerald Downs with a decent shot to finish in the money. He’s the one horse, Moscow Dancer, in the third race. The race itself is a one mile $7,500 claiming for horses three year olds or upward that have never won two races. There are a few possible winners in this race, including the 9-5 favorite, Last Outpost. However, I like to play a long shot now and again. Moscow Dancer appears to be built for routes. He has not faired too well in sprints. He’s familiar with Emerald Downs. His last race was a $7,500 claimer on June 16. In that race, he held back and brought it late. He ended up winning that race by half a length. He’s worked out since then as well—July 9. His jockey, R M Hadley, has ridden him then past four races and appears to have a great handle on the horse. Moscow Dancer has been improving for the most part in each race. There are some pace setters in this race and Moscow Dancer might be in the thick of things as they come for home. I would hope Moscow Dancer does not get bet down at all. He is running at 118. The other horses, except 12- Tizza Macarena, are all running heavier at 124. Moscow Dancer is on Lasix and will have blinders on. Leave a Reply |
